The #TransPeerNetwork hangouts can be magical spaces full of vulnerability, intimacy, deep, serious conversations, lots of crying, laughter, support, care & attention. We can jump from topic to topic or dive deep into one big, complicated question. They mean the world to me.

It's helped me in ways I somewhat imagined-- I found a safe place and I've been able to share topics (even some that I didn't even think about!), it's connected me with other members with whom I was able to share experiences, time and feel human. And in other ways I didn't imagine such as being able to explore my identity online without feeling a burden or obligation to meet any criteria, the opportunity to give as much or as little as I want to without the worry or pretext of gender norms. For me, the TPN has been almost a pillar with every member I've interacted with, shared a reaction, done voice calls or have been able to exchange messages On a more light-hearted note, I also got introduced to trans twitter which has opened my eyes with how I interact with social media. I believe the TPN is important to me because it allowed me to learn, to understand and explore and I hope to one day be able to help others in a similar way I received help
